Beyond a living room, Maison & Objet is the center of attention of every professional: design, fashion, home, decoration objects, arts.
Maison & Objet is the biggest event dedicated to lifestyle professionals in all its expressions. Decoration, design, furniture, accessories, fabrics, fragrances, children’s products, tableware and much more. Each edition of this great lifestyle platform, halfway between the world of business and creativity, shows design solutions to visitors from around the world in search of originality.
MAISON&OBJET Paris is strongly characterized by three thematic areas. The first is MAISON, so the home and its wide range of interior decorations, organised in different worlds. The second is OBJET, which focuses on the product: every year a concept store useful for retailers is organized. Finally, there is INFLUENCES, as the name suggests, the format focuses on market trends, an original form of display created to facilitate communication and the discovery of new products.
Since Scandinavian design has started to invade the market, it will be possible to admire the new ideas and proposals regarding hygge design in January 2020, from the 17th to the 21st. Next year Maison & Objet will celebrate its 25th birthday by looking to the future to explore new trends in the behavior of younger consumers, those of generations Y and Z.
Michael Anastassiades is the “designer of the year”, will be the guest star of the next edition of Maison&Objet. After graduating in civil engineering and obtaining a master’s degree in industrial design from the Royal College of Art in London, Anastassiades founded the studio in London in 1994 and launched his own brand in 2007. And we are very curious to see what he will be presenting at the fair!!!
